Strictly Dresses Creative Director Alexandra Subris has been asked to judge the finalists for the Miss Harrogate competition this year. Alex, who launched her first evening collection in 2009 to great acclaim is also designing and donating the winner’s gown.

Since the launch of her website she has seen her sales soar as customers have the opportunity to buy a luxury hand finished evening gown at a fraction of store prices. She has built a team around her with over 40 years of experience in the fashion and design world who bring a wealth of knowledge to creating beautiful garments at a fraction of the normal cost.

Alex said: “Miss Harrogate is both a fun and established competition to be involved in and I can’t wait to work with the winner and design her fabulous evening gown.”
